| Build Self-Esteem |

| Life Changers is designed to explore a variety of issues women face in their daily lives including relationships, boundaries, identity, self-esteem, body image, sexuality, and personal empowerment. |

| Members will be encouraged to learn about themselves and others within a safe and supportive group environment |
| |
| Employment support |
| |
| Ethnic Minority Women and children are in need of economic and career development assistance as well as the long-term financial resources and life skills training, necessary to decrease their risk of returning to abusive situations. |

| Life Changers will link women with relevant organizations that will assist in their development and employment opportunity. |
| |
| Health support |
| |
| We also provide health promotion outreach work, focusing on HIV and AIDS, to women and their families. Also advice and information will be provided on welfare benefits, housing and education, and also training. |

| Victims of crime |
| |
| This is for people who have been in, or are currently in any type of abusive relationship or suffered from any form of external crime. We will also support these people. This group will meet and make referrals to other organizations when necessary. |

| Children often provide emotional and practical support to their mothers, such as calling the police for help. Girls, in particular, will try to protect younger brothers and sisters during violent episodes |

| We also offer women who have been abused or are currently being abused a forum to discuss their issues and problems and to seek solutions and support. We come together to share our stories and offer encouragement, resource information, and advice. |

| For the purposes of this group, domestic violence includes the following forms of abuse: emotional, mental, psychological, economical/financial, verbal, sexual, and physical. |
